Rose White & Blue Parade (San Jose)

The Libertarian Party of Santa Clara County will be walking in celebration 4th of July in the Rose White & Blue Parade. Held in the Rose Garden neighborhood, San Jose; we encourage you to join us for the festivities.
This year the theme is "Our Stories Create Community". Help us prepare for the event and volunteer to walk with us!

Parade Route: The parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at Lincoln High School parking lot on Dana Avenue. The parade follows a path of turns through the Shasta/Hanchett Park and Rose Garden neighborhoods before finishing on The Alameda near the intersection of Pershing Avenue. This is a description of the route's specific streets. The parade heads north on Dana Avenue, then turns right onto Neglee Avenue. The parade follows Neglee Avenue until it takes another right turn onto The Alameda. The total distance traveled is 1.6 miles.

Parking: Public lots are available for parking at the corner of Race Street and The Alameda and Cleaves Avenue and The Alameda. There is street parking available along most of the street near the route (but not on the route).
The Rosicrucian Museum located at Naglee and Park avenues also has a lot on Naglee Avenue that will be available for public parking.

8:00 a.m. Parade Assembly
Location for assembly is 555 Dana Avenue (parking lot across from Lincoln High)
Decorate bikes, wagons and trikes
All welcome to participate

9:00 a.m. Entry Judging
9:30 a.m. All units to be in final parade line-up position

12:00 p.m. Parade ends on The Alameda


Meet us at Lincoln High School (555 Dana Ave., San Jose) no later then 10:00am -- give plenty of time to find parking!
