The Executive Committee of the Libertarian Party of Santa Clara County acted this week to fill two vacancies in officer positions, triggered by the resignation of the Secretary.
Brian Holtz was appointed to fill that spot, vacating his previous position as Campaigns Chair. Scott Lieberman was then appointed to serve as Campaigns Chair. Both appointments are for the remainder of the current term, until the annual meeting early next year at which regular officer elections will be held.
Holtz, a resident of Los Altos Hills, is an elected Director of the Purissima Hills Water District, having been been re-elected to that position in 2020. He has also previously served as a member of the LP SCC's Judicial Committee, has been a member of the national LP's Platform Committee, and ran multiple times for Congress as a Libertarian.
Lieberman, a resident of Los Gatos, has served previously as Campaigns Chair, and before that multiple terms as Publicity Chair. He also served as an alternate member of the Libertarian National Committee for several terms as a representative of the region containing California.
