Convention experiences record Breaking Attendance
Campbell, CA - The Libertarian Party of Santa Clara County held its annual convention on January 26th, 2019. The proceeding culminated in the election of the 2019 officers:

Judicial Committee - Joe Dehn, Bill White, and Steve Haug
LPC Platform Representative - John Ward
The Convention experienced record breaking attendance which was up 36.4% from the previous year. The convention theme; Improving Upon Our Best highlighted the local party’s achievements during 2018 but also addressed plans on how the party is preparing to foster continual growth and influence in Santa Clara politics and public policy.
Keynote speaker, Prof. David Friedman address the delegation with a talk discussing arguments Libertarians shouldn't make. Re-elected chair, Jennifer Imhoff stated “As Republican and Democrat parties registration numbers continue to degrade, we have a golden opportunity to demonstrate our relevance as a voice of reason“
The event was dedicated to beloved personality of the Beat Generation and founding Libertarian Albert Hinkle. Special guests included Libertarian Party of California Chair Mimi Robson and Northern Vice Chair Dr. Brent Olsen; as well as Affiliate officers from San Francisco, Solano, and Kings Counties.
