LPSCC Draft Positions
Following are position statements drafted by members of the LPSCC Platform Committee, to be considered for adoption by the central committee. They are not yet official positions of the county party.
The county is to extricate ourselves from the ValleyWater, Inc. provider, and to open our markets to other providers, using a Public Choice model for customers.
Public Choice is always better than monopoly, even when government is the monopoly. Public Choice leads to better pricing and better coupling to variabilities in resource needs.
